NBC Fall 2025 TV: Here’s Everything You Need to Know
NBC

NBC has some big announcements still to come regarding its full fall 2025-2026 schedule, but there are some things we already know about what’s ahead for next season.

Two of the network’s freshman comedies got early renewals, and it is the home for many tried-and-true procedural dramas that probably aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Here’s a look at everything we know about NBC’s fall 2025-2026 TV plans, and be sure to check back in the very near future for updates.

Renewed NBC Shows

NBC has renewed Happy’s Place, its new Reba McEntire-led family comedy series, for a second season. It also gave a Season 2 order to the hospital workplace comedy St. Denis Medical. Though The Voice has not been officially renewed for 2025, the network has already announced Snoop Dogg will rejoin the coaches chair for Season 28.

Canceled NBC Shows

None of NBC’s current shows have been canceled yet, but there are many, many renewals still to come.

NBC Shows That Haven’t Been Canceled or Renewed Yet

NBC has yet to announce renewals for most of its scripted series, including Brilliant Minds, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., Found, Grosse Pointe Garden Society, The Hunting Party, The Irrational, Law & Order, Law & Order SVU, Lopez vs. Lopez, Night Court, Suits L.A. New NBC Shows

NBC has not revealed any new series that are heading to the network this fall — at least not yet. The network did announce in May 2024 that it gave the green light to Destination X, an adventure competition series, so it’s possible that could join the lineup. NBC also ordered a new unscripted series called On Brand With Jimmy Fallon that doesn’t have a premiere date. Also still possible is the premiere of Surviving Earth, an eight-episode series that was first put into the works in 2022 and is reportedly still in the works; the show would use digital technology to showcase the prehistoric era of the world.

NBC Fall 2025 Premiere Dates

NBC has not yet announced its list of premiere dates but is expected to do so soon.

NBC Fall 2025 Schedule

NBC’s fall 2025-2026 schedule is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

NFL legend Jason Kelce refuses to apologize to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones

NFL legend Jason Kelce has made his opinion of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones very clear. To be more specific, the Philadelphia Eagles icon shared his brutally honest view on how Jones’ big move before the NFL trade deadline transformed the Cowboys into a much more formidable team. Kelce had a lot to say about Jones and the Cowboys on a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast alongside his brother, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Jason Kelce praised Jones for bringing in Quinnen Williams in a blockbuster trade deal, but the legendary center is adamant that he will not be apologizing for his take on the Cowboys and their 83-year-old owner. For what it's worth, Jones had an outrageous claim himself recently. “New Heights” released a new episode on Wednesday, and as usual, the brothers discussed developments in the NFL. One of the topics they covered was that the Cowboys have gone undefeated since the trade deadline, when Jones pulled the trigger on a blockbuster deal with the New York Jets for All-Pro defensive lineman Quinnen Williams. However, when asked if he believes he owes Jones an apology, Kelce was confused. “Do we owe Jerry an apology? Who owes Jerry an apology? What do I have to apologize for?” Kelce asked. “They [expletive] sucked! What are we talking about? Their defense was horrendous. “So good job! What do we owe an apology for? Hey, your car doesn't work. Oh, I went and got it fixed. Oh, we owe you an apology for saying your car [expletive] broke down and didn't work on the side of the road? I don't owe [expletive] an apology.” The Cowboys have gone 3-0 since Williams’ arrival, including Sunday’s massive comeback victory against Jason's former team, the Eagles, and their Thanksgiving win over Travis' Chiefs. While Kelce has refused to apologize to Jones, he admitted that the Cowboys owner deserves praise for his decision to bring in an elite-caliber player in Williams. “We owe Jerry Jones a clap of approval,” Kelce said. “I'll say this, and I'll stand on this, and I think the guys will back me. When Jerry said we were gonna make a trade, I think everybody's expecting an edge player to replace Micah [Parsons]. When they said it was Quinnen, immediately, I thought this is better for that defense. “Because for years, they have lacked the raw, man strength, big power in the heart of that defense. They have lacked that type of presence, and Quinnen brings that. I just think for moving forward, this is a great piece to build around. I think it's a great move by Jerry. “I don't think I owe him a [expletive] apology, but I'll say great [expletive] job.”

NFL insider makes the obvious Max Brosmer to Brock Purdy comparison, and takes a damning shot at J.J. McCarthy

The Minnesota Vikings are set to start rookie undrafted free agent Max Brosmer against the Seattle Seahawks, as starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy is out with a concussion. It's a tough one for the Vikings, who have dealt with quarterback injuries all season long, starting with McCarthy's high ankle sprain in Week 2, and Carson Wentz's brutal left shoulder injury suffered in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns. It's been that kind of season for the 4-7 Vikings, but arguably the most brutal aspect has been not knowing if McCarthy is the future at quarterback. With Sunday's game, the Vikings are going to get their first look at Brosmer, who has been compared by many to the elevation of Brock Purdy, including me back in August. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler takes damning shot at J.J. McCarthy The chance for Brosmer to emerge is a huge one, as the Vikings are starving for any kind of good quarterback play. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler broke down how both the Vikings and other teams feel about him "Max Brosmer, huge showcase for this guy. The Vikings know that they have something in Max Brosmer," said Fowler on Saturday morning's Sports Center. "They felt like he had a really good preseason. I talked to multiple teams who said he was cool and calm and collected in the preseason action. He's an undrafted free agent, so the expectations aren't overly high, but I'm told, just from a mental preparation standpoint, he's been really good, and they feel like, hey, maybe something can happen here." Fowler didn't stop there, comparing him to Purdy, who share very similar career arcs, with the sole difference being that Purdy was the final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, whereas Brosmer was one of the UDFAs with the most guaranteed money. "It was around three years to the day, Randy, that Brock Purdy made his debut week 12 of the 2022 season. He started for the 49ers. Rest is history. Now, he's one of the, you know, top 10 to 12 best quarterbacks in the league. That's a lot of expectation to put on this guy. However, you know, there is some symmetry here. Yeah, you have Kevin O'Connell's offense. They've got weapons." Fowler didn't end there, as the final line came in like a dagger in terms of McCarthy's performances this season. "They feel like, at the very least, he's going to be probably more mentally prepared than they've had this season with the struggles [at quarterback]." Calling Brosmer more mentally prepared than both McCarthy and Wentz is incredibly damning, and it could be why they decide to ride it out with Brosmer the rest of the season if things continue to go well. This isn't the first time that we've had negative words seemingly come out of the Vikings' building about this team, including McCarthy, this season, but this might be the worst of them all. Will Brosmer end up being the next guy for the Vikings? Only time will tell, but it certainly looks possible. window.addEventListener('message', function (event) {if (event.data.totalpoll event.data.totalpoll.action === 'resizeHeight') {document.querySelector('#totalpoll-iframe-383').height = event.data.totalpoll.value;}}, false);document.querySelector('#totalpoll-iframe-383').contentWindow.postMessage({totalpoll: {action: 'requestHeight'}}, '*'); This story was originally published by A to Z Sports on Nov 29, 2025, where it first appeared in the NFL section. Patrick Mahomes has blunt take on Chiefs' disappointing season

The Kansas City Chiefs couldn't secure the win on Thanksgiving, dropping to 6-6 for the season after a 31-28 defeat to the Dallas Cowboys. All of Kansas City's losses have been by just one possession, and they might not even make the playoffs now. Thursday's loss followed an epic 23-20 overtime comeback win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Every time it looks like the Chiefs will get back on track, they take a couple of steps back. That's why, even though he still believes in this team, quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a pretty blunt way of describing how the season has gone for Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes calls out the Chiefs' inconsistency “Our ceiling is playing in the Super Bowl," Mahomes said, per Marleah Campbell of KCTV. "We can beat anybody, but we’ve shown that we can lose to anybody.” Mahomes was the only bright spot for Andy Reid's team in the loss. He completed 66.7% of his passes for 261 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions, and kept extending plays and making things happen behind a banged-up and inefficient offensive line. Kansas City's playoff hopes are alive for now, but it can't afford any mistakes from now on. They will face the Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos at home, and they have road games against the Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans. Of course, facing the best defenses in the game and three divisional rivals is far from ideal, but there won't be a better way to prove that the Chiefs' dynasty is far from over.

Kevin Durant has decided the next team he wants to join after Houston Rockets, claims ex-star

Kevin Durant was traded to the Houston Rockets during the NBA offseason and so far the move has paid off. The Houston Rockets have already established themselves as one of the best teams in the Western Conference, sitting in fourth place at 12-4. The Rockets are coming off a thrilling win over the Golden State Warriors without Kevin Durant, who has been out the last two games due to personal reasons. Reed Sheppard led the way for the Rockets in Durant’s absence. But for as good as the Rockets are without Durant, they are even better with him, as Durant has averaged 24.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season. Kevin Durant could join another team before his career is over If and when the NBA expands, Seattle along with Las Vegas is expected to be in the mix to revive the SuperSonics. Stephen Curry gets INJURED vs. Houston Rockets Worst Case Scenario for the Warriors – Stephen Curry suffers a right quad contusion! Seattle was awarded the SuperSonics in 1967, making them the city’s first major pro sports team. According to Gary Payton, the SuperSonics are very close to returning and the NBA legend thinks Durant could leave Houston and join them. “Gary Payton told me the return of the SuperSonics is “very close, very very close” and that he thinks Kevin Durant is waiting to retire until the team returns.” Why did the SuperSonics leave Seattle? The SuperSonics left Seattle in July 2008, as Durant and company relocated to Oklahoma City where they became the Oklahoma City Thunder. The SuperSonics left Seattle primarily because the new ownership group, led by Clay Bennett, intended to relocate the team to Oklahoma City. Key factors in why the SuperSonics left Seattle included the failure to secure public funding for a new or renovated arena in Seattle. There was also a lack of political support for an arena deal and legal and political battles over the team’s future. Additionally, Oklahoma City effectively positioned itself as an ideal relocation candidate, where the Thunder have been since.
