Silk Sonic announces Las Vegas residency: 'The sexiest party of the year!'

Silk Sonic is taking over Las Vegas.

Earlier Wednesday, the duo comprised of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak announced a Las Vegas residency kicking off Feb. 25:

Silk Sonic officially formed in early March and debuted with scorching single "Leave the Door Open," which quickly also became their first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 by April.

An Evening with Silk Sonic, their debut album, arrived Nov. 12 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. "Smokin Out The Window" is the latest track to chart on the Hot 100, peaking at No. 5.

Also Wednesday, Silk Sonic earned four NAACP Image Awards nominations:

The 64th Grammy Awards have been rescheduled for April 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas — the day after Silk Sonic's Las Vegas residency ends. The duo is up for record of the year ("Leave the Door Open"), song of the year ("Leave the Door Open"), best R&B performance ("Leave the Door Open") and best R&B song ("Leave the Door Open").
