"Squid Game" creator Hwang Dong-hyuk is giving fans of his smash Netflix series a lot to look forward to.
"I'm in talks with Netflix over Season 2 as well as Season 3," Hwang said Tuesday (Dec. 28), according to The Korea Times. "We will come to a conclusion any time soon."
"Squid Game" receiving a second season is old news, as he confirmed last month that it was in the works.

Mention of a third season is a new development, however.
The demand is definitely there for it. Released in September,
"Squid Game" needed only four weeks to become Netflix's most-viewed show in the streamer's history. For those who haven't seen the gruesome Korean action series, it follows Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) as one of hundreds of competitors entering a children's game that turns deadly — all in the name of claiming the 45.6 billion prize.
