Tickets for The Fantastic Four: First Steps are now officially on sale. That’s a big milestone for Marvel’s first family, one that the studio celebrated with an all-new The Fantastic Four trailer. It’s full of iconic moments, references, an adorable, important baby, and a very stylish flying car.
From little Franklin Richards, appearing in live-action for the first time, and the Fantasti-Car, to infamous villains and a classic “It’s clobberin’ time,” this latest trailer for the MCU’s next big film is pure Fantastic Four goodness. This trailer also leans into the group’s defining trait and the reason they’re so beloved. They aren’t a team of superheroes; they are a family.
And the film’s official synopsis makes clear they’ll need to stay one if they hope to survive their greatest threat ever. From Marvel Studios:
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro- futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First FamilyReed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman , Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer . And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.
Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach star as the iconic clan. They’ll face off against Ralph Ineson’s Galactus and Julia Garner’s Silver Surfer. Directed by Matt Shakman ( WandaVision ), the film also stars Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Nile.
And while, as this trailer shares, The Fantastic Four: First Steps doesn’t arrive in theaters until July 25, you can now buy your tickets wherever they’re sold. If you plan on being there for the first screenings, you should probably get yours now. If you plan on buying them in person, we know what car you should try taking.
