During an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Lawrence shared a humorous anecdote about her attempts to convince the four-year-old that she is indeed an X-Men. “My four-year-old nephew, Bear, he is obsessed with X-Men. And, I’m like, Bear, I’m an X-Men, and he’s like, “No, the real X-Men.” It’s like the most infuriating…” Lawrence explained.

Additionally, she even went so far as to record her nephew while attempting to convince him of her X-Men identity. In the clip, she can be seen saying, “You know that I’m an X-Men. However, Bear’s response was far from enthusiastic, as he simply sighed and banged his head on the car seat. “Bear, I play Mystique, I’m an X-Men. Acknowledge it. He hates it,” Lawrence added. She expressed her frustration with her nephew’s disbelief.

Jennifer Lawrence’s struggles to convince her nephew of her X-Men identity didn’t end with his disbelief. The young boy also expressed a lack of interest in her work, even when she was filming the iconic ‘Hunger Games’ series.

Lawrence revealed that her nephew, Bear, was reluctant to visit her on the ‘Hunger Games’ set, despite being a part of the film himself. “He doesn’t like my work,” Lawrence confessed. The actress recalled a moment when Bear asked his father, “Dad, do I have to be in this one?” While Jennifer was disappointed with her nephew’s lack of enthusiasm, it proves one thing; kids don’t lie!
