Watch: Chris Hemsworth Plays Drums For 70,000 People At Ed Sheeran’s Show, Reveals Why He Got Into Music

Chris Hemsworth has a long list of qualities. From great acting to humor and dance moves, the Hollywood star knows how to win crowds. Now he has added another skill to his long resume. Chris has been practicing drums for quite some time now and gave a peek at his skill recently.

During one of Ed Sheeran’s performances in front of 70,000 people, Hemsworth joined him to play ‘Thinking Out Loud‘ in Bucharest, Romania. Watching the actor perform on the stage was a big dose of excitement.

Chris Hemsworth learned to play the drums from scratch as part of a challenge for his National Geographic show ‘Limitless With Chris Hemsworth’. In a video posted on Instagram, Sheeran wrote that ‘Thor’ actor called him in December to tell him about his documentary, He was diving into, “cognitive heath and the benefits of learning instruments.“

“I’ve been thinking about this a lot, I’m ready to put this one to bed,” Hemsworth told Sheeran.

While he seemed nervous to get on the stage at the National Arena, Hemsworth delivered a great performance and also earned a ‘participation award’ from Ed after the show.
