Watch the teaser trailer for 'Chad Powers' starring Glen Powell

During game four of the NBA Finals, Hulu debuted a new teaser trailer for Chad Powers starring Glen Powell, who co-created and executive-produced the show with Michael Waldron. The two also co-wrote the pilot.

When bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday's college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.

Based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the Eli's Places series, Chad Powers is executive produced by Eli Manning, Omaha Productions' Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown, and ESPN, Waldron and Adam Fasullo for Anomaly Pictures, Powell for his production co-banner Barnstorm Productions, and Luvh Rakhe. Tony Yacenda serves as director and executive producer.

The rest of the cast includes Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny, and Steve Zahn as Jake Hudson.

"We're both diehard college football fans," Powell, who plays Russ Holliday/Chad Powers, and Waldron said in a statement. "When we saw Eli as Chad Powers, we knew that was the way into a big, fun story about this world. We’re excited to be part of this team, and can’t wait to get Chad in the game. Think fast, run fast."

The half-hour comedy premieres on Hulu with the first two episodes on September 30. After that, new episodes will stream weekly on Tuesdays.
