Zach Lowe and Ramona Shelburne made a concerning prediction on what's coming for Ime Udoka and the Boston Celtics, calling it 'ugly and sad'.

The Ime Udoka drama is getting worse by the day, even after the Boston Celtics decided to give him a yearlong suspension for having an improper relationship with a female member of the team staff. This is an unfortunate situation that has raised many eyebrows around the league, and the worst part is that this might be only the beginning of a worse situation.

This situation has sparked a lot of reactions around the league, with fans making many comments about it, speculating about who could be involved in this scandal, and even creating heated debates around the league

Brad Stevens has opened up about this, too, showing his support to the women in the organization, defending them against all the rumors and attacks from people on social media. This is just the beginning of this, as according to reports, things could get a lot worse and not only for Udoka.

Zach Lowe And Ramona Shelburne Warn That The Ime Udoka Situation Is Way Worse Than We Think

During a recent edition of Zach Lowe's "The Lowe Post" podcast, the ESPN analyst was joined by Ramona Shelburne and Tim Bontemps to discuss the hottest topics around the league, including the Robert Sarver sanction and the current situation with Ime Udoka.

While asking why the owner and the head coach received a similar punishment, Lowe revealed details of what could have happened within the Celtics organization. First, Ramona revealed that there is more to this story we don't know that could be very harmful to many people (24:19).

"It sounds like there is a lot to this story that may come out, may not come out, but it sounds like a lot of people are gonna be affected in pretty messy, ugly ways. I don't know if we can all judge later on because this is a fair enough punishment, but I know that Ime Udoka is one of the best young coaches in the league, that he took the Boston Celtics to the Finals last year, and for them to consider such a massive penalty, it has to be pretty severe. So, obviously, it's going to change the dynamics in the team now, it's really gonna change the dynamics of their season, and we just have to trust the investigation and people handling it at this point."

Lowe doubled down on these comments, saying that it could be sad for everybody involved in this scandal.

"Based on what we have found out [about the Udoka situation], you and I have been on the phone for 20+ hours, I do think it's messy, and it's ugly and it's going to be really sad. Whatever happens, there's going to be damage here one way or another."

The Boston Celtics had high expectations entering this season after an offseason where they added players that made them favorites for the championship. Now, things are collapsing, and they'll probably have to wait another season before having another real chance to win the title. As we all know, that's not guaranteed, and this situation could be the beginning of the end of something magical for the C's.
