Tiger Woods is unsure if he will be able to play in the Masters later this week, but he is working on his game just in case.

Woods announced on Sunday that he will practice at Augusta National leading up to the 2022 Masters. He said whether or not he plays in the tournament will be a “game-time decision.” On Sunday afternoon, a video surfaced of Woods hitting some balls on the range at Augusta. He was greeted by Billy Horschel.

Tiger has not played in a professional golf event in more than a year. He suffered serious injuries in a car accident on Feb. 23, 2021. The injuries were so severe that he nearly had to have his leg amputated. He said he will likely never be a full-time player on the PGA Tour again, but it would be fitting for him to make his highly anticipated return at the Masters.

Woods has won the Masters five times, most recently in 2019. He finished tied for 38 at the event in 2020 and did not play last year.
