What a weekend it's been for San Francisco Giants catcher Patrick Bailey and his family.

On Friday night, Bailey's wife and daughter went viral for their reaction to seeing him make his major league debut.

On Saturday afternoon, they went viral again for their reaction to his first major league hit.

Bailey's first hit came in the bottom of the eighth inning against the Miami Marlins. The Marlins led 1-0 at the time and ultimately won by that score, but Bailey's hit came on a single through the right side.

You can see the hit -- and the reaction of his family -- here.

He is the organization's No. 11 ranked prospect and was a first-round pick in 2020.

Here's more from his MLB.com prospect profile:

A switch-hitter, Bailey make more consistent and higher quality contact from the left side of the plate, and the Giants believe he'll be productive enough to at least form the strong side of a platoon. He may never hit for a high average but has the strength and the ability to launch balls to his pull side to provide average power against right-handers. He draws a healthy amount of walks and San Francisco hopes he'll improve vs. left-handers as he gets more at-bats against them.

Though he shows little speed on the bases, Bailey moves well for a catcher and is agile behind the plate. He's a quality receiver and blocker who frames pitches well, though that skill may mean less with an automated strike zone. His solid-to-plus arm strength enabled him to throw out 31 percent of base stealers in his first two years as a pro, and he also stands out with his game-calling and leadership skills.
