There are few teams in Major League Baseball that have been as consistently dominant as the Milwaukee Brewers have been in recent memory.
Milwaukee entered the 2026 season after winning three straight National League Central titles. Right now, the Brewers are well on their way to the fourth straight division title as well. Milwaukee is currently 81-49 through 130 games and has a seven-game lead in the division over the second-place Chicago Cubs.
We're in the golden age of Brewers baseball. If you're a Milwaukee fan, take this in. You may never see a consistent run like Milwaukee has been on over the last few years. In fact, this is actually the second straight season in which Milwaukee has gone 81-49 through 130 games.
How ridiculous is that?
Last season, this resulted in the Brewers winning a franchise record 97 games. It was the best regular season in Milwaukee history and rather than taking a step back, the Brewers are doing it again. Outside of the Los Angeles Dodgers, there isn't another team out there in baseball right now that is as consistent as Milwaukee.
The crazy thing is that the Brewers do it differently than Los Angeles. The Dodgers have been as they have been because they go out, spend an insane amount, and add ready-made superstars. The club's addition of Tarik Skubal this summer is a big example of this. The Dodgers have won two straight World Series titles and yet they felt the need to go out and acquire a two-time reigning American League Cy Young Award winner in Skubal.
That's not what Milwaukee does. The Brewers build from within and then add around the edges. They develop young talent and get them to the majors and then go from there. Jacob Misiorowski and Jackson Chourio are two massive examples of this right now. Misiorowski is going to win the National League Cy Young Award this season, barring a major setback. Chourio is a 22-year-old legit star.
There's more talent coming, as well. Milwaukee promoted Cooper Pratt and Luis Lara to the majors this season after giving both long-term extensions. Milwaukee has the No. 1 overall prospect in baseball in Jesús Made, plus guys like Luis Peña, Josh Adamczewski, Brady Ebel, Andrew Fischer, and Jett Williams, among many others. Milwaukee's farm system is the best in the business. What Milwaukee has done over the last few years is special. And, it's sustainable. These Brewers aren't going away anytime soon.
