Let's Take Some Time to Praise Patrick Beverley
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

PatBev is a key cog in the Bulls' recent resurgence.

I think we should all take some time to appreciate Patrick Beverley. The Chicago native has played 12 total games with the Bulls and seems to have changed this team's attitude. Beverley has led the Bulls to an 8-4 record since his arrival.

The veteran guard is also part of one of the most productive five-man lineups in the NBA. Beverley, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso, and Nikola Vucevic rank fourth in the league at this time.

The confidence and style of play Beverley has brought along with him have changed the Bulls for the better. He has constantly praised his teammates, coaching staff, and fans. Sure, words are just words, but the results since his arrival indicate the team has bought into whatever he is preaching.

The road to the play-in isn't over yet, however. Chicago has a tough 11-game slate remaining, and all but two of those contests will be against playoff or play-in teams. Just a few weeks ago, this stretch of the schedule would have seemed insurmountable. But whatever the Bulls are doing recently is working, which has sparked a more positive outlook.

With Patrick Beverley rallying the troops and running the point, the Chicago Bulls seem to be in a better spot.
