Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley talks a big game. We already knew that heading into Sunday’s outing against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
But Beverley might want to mute himself to an extent after he dropped just two points on 1-of-3 shooting in Sunday’s 112-103 loss.
The talkative point guard was asked how challenging it is to guard James. His response was pretty much on brand. “No challenge. No challenge,” Beverley said. “Not hard at all.

That’s rather interesting given that James dropped 28 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out nine assists during Sunday’s game.
If these two teams do end up meeting in the playoffs, I am sure that James will be thinking about Beverley’s ridiculous comments and take the dude to school.
Great bulletin board material here, Mr. Beverley.
