Tom Brady is closing in on an NFL record that is currently held by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. In 2018, Rodgers set the record for most consecutive passes without an interception with 402. Who owned the record before Rodgers? Tom Brady. Now, Brady is looking to take back the record he set in 2010-2011.

Brady hasn’t thrown an interception since Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. Since throwing a pick to Cowboys safety Donovan Wilson back in September, Brady has thrown 373 passes without an interception. That puts him at number two on the all-time list, 29 behind Rodgers.

Despite Brady taking a step back in production compared to his previous seasons, he is still having an impressive year. He currently sits second in the league in passing yards with 2547. However, he has only thrown 10 touchdown passes, which places him 17th in the NFL. Nevertheless, Brady has not been turning the ball over and is on a historic pace when it comes to interception ratio.

This season, Brady has thrown 398 passes, only being intercepted once, meaning he has thrown interceptions on just 0.25 percent of his passes. That puts Brady on pace to break Rodgers’ record of 0.34 which he set back in 2018.

Both Brady and Rodgers have been struggling this season. Brady and the Buccaneers sit at 4-5, while Rodgers and the Packers are 3-6. Some fans are saying both of these veteran quarterbacks should have retired last year. Can either of these future Hall of Famers lead their teams to the playoffs before it’s too late?
