Dallas Cowboys To Sign TE Mitch Van Vooren, Place Kelvin Gilliam Jr. On IR

DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys will sign tight end Mitch Van Vooren and place defensive tackle Kelvin Gilliam Jr. on injured reserve. Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer had addressed the tight end position hours earlier at The Star.

The Dallas Cowboys announced they have signed TE Mitchell Van Vooren to a contract. The Cowboys waived DT Kelvin Gilliam with an injury designation in a corresponding move.
