Former South Carolina State star wide receiver Shaquan Davis signed a reserve/future deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to John Hendrix of the Saints News Network. New Orleans offered Davis an undrafted free-agent contract after the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Saints are going to have their fair share of work cut out for them in the offseason as they look to build a contender for the new season. Part of that work includes reserve/future contracts to begin shaping out their 90-man roster.
Per Nick Underhill, the Saints placed WR Shaq Davis on injured reserve and released CB Anthony Johnson from the practice squad. The team also released OL Tommy Kraemer, according to Underhill.
