ECHL: Goaltender Brett Brochu Heads Overseas

Fort Wayne Komets Goaltender Brett Brochu is heading overseas to Germany to join ERC Ingolstadt of the DEL. During the 2024-25 season, Brochu went 20-10-5 with a 2.42 GAA, .923SV%, and one shutout in 35 games with the Fort Wayne Komets.

On Tuesday morning, the Wheeling Nailers hosted the Fort Wayne Komets on Education Day at WesBanco Arena for the first of five games this season. Sergei Murashov saw his sixth start of the season between the pipes for the Nailers, and Brett Brochu got his seventh start of the season for the Komets.
