We still don’t believe it. Outlander delivered a horrific shock on November 29 with the news of heroic Scottish Highlander Jamie Fraser’s (Sam Heughan) death in a shipwreck.
Starz‘s Outlander spinoff, Blood of My Blood, has begun filming in Scotland. Tony Curran will play Simon Fraser — 11th Lord Lovat and Jamie Fraser’s grandfather — in the period drama, and the Scottish actor tells TV Insider that the Blood of My Blood scripts are “juicy,” in addition to some other exciting plot details.
The cast of Outlander‘s spinoff Blood of My Blood continues to expand with the addition of familiar characters with Rory Alexander, Sam Retford, Séamus McLean Ross, and Conor MacNeill tackling the roles of young Murtagh, young Dougal, young Colum, and young Ned Gowan, respectively.
Jamie Fraser’s (Sam Heughan) onscreen family is expanding as Mary & George‘s Tony Curran joins Outlander: Blood of My Blood as Lord Lovat, Jamie’s grandfather.
