The ECHL has named Reading Royals Goaltender Keith Petruzzelli as the ECHL Goaltender of the Week for October 17th-19th. In his only start last week, Petruzzelli stopped all 32 shots for a 4-0 road victory against the Maine Mariners.
The Reading Royals have announced that they’ve re-signed goaltender Vinnie Purpura for the 2025-26 season. Purpura, 24, went 11-6-5 with a 2.49 GAA and .922SV% in 24 games last season.
