Sheffield Wednesday hero Josh Windass took aim at Michael Duff of Barnsley shortly after the League One play-off final.

Windass scored in the 123rd minute to give Wednesday the remarkable story of promotion back to the Championship.

Josh, who is the son of Hull legend Dean Windass, took exception to the reports that Barnsley coach Michael Duff had been watching Wednesday's semi-final against Peterborough, but left the first leg early when they were being battered 4-0.

"I heard their manager left our game against Peterborough because he said we were out," the Wednesday forward told Sky Sports.

"So, unlucky."

Sheffield Wednesday had come back in the second leg of that semi final against Peterborough, winning the second leg 5-1 and then a penalty shootout.
