Elustondo confident Meriino, Zubimendi will stay with Real Sociedad

Aritz Elustondo has hopes of Real Sociedad keeping their best players.

Elustondo believes Mikel Merino and Martn Zubimendi will continue with Real Sociedad next season.

On Merino, he said: "If necessary, we will tie him up in Zubieta's locker room so that he does not leave. He still has one year left on his contract, does he? No? It's true that now the Euro Cup is coming, I hope he does it as well as possible, which I'm sure he will, because he has given us a lot and is going to give us a lot, and then he disconnects on vacation and returns to Zubieta when they tell him to."

On Zubimendi, he added: "Nobody knows what is going to happen, we are not in their heads but, from what we see, we are clear that they are going to stay here, because they are very comfortable and on top of that making more history with Real is one of their biggest goals."
