Two days after the brother of Tottenham Hotspur right back Serge Aurier was shot and killed, the 27-year-old defender played a full 90 minutes as Tottenham defeated Newcastle United 3-1 at an empty St. James' Park.
Heading into Wednesday's match, Tottenham and Newcastle both offered support for Aurier via social media:

Christopher Aurier was shot and killed in Toulouse, France early Monday morning. According to French outlet L'Equipe (h/t talkSport), a suspect in the shooting handed himself over to police Tuesday night.
