Jimmy Rollins has once again gotten his Nostradamus on. After gaining something of a reputation for making predictions, J-Roll quickly became a media target for an easy story-line sound bite (even more so than he had been), with reporters asking for his calls on a variety of outcomes. How many wins would the Phillies have? Will they repeat as champs? Do you like the Eagles with the points tonight? He nailed most of them, and after last night's Yankees win, another J-Roll prognostication came true.
In May, it was released that Playboy had previously asked Jimmy which teams he thought would be in the World Series. It might not exactly have been going out on a limb to pick the Yankees—but he was right. Again. Quick, someone get a mic in front of him so he can predict a Phillies World Series win. His horses don't lose.
Of course the best way to make that prediction come true is to take into his own hands, like he did in the bottom of the ninth, game 5 against the Dodgers...
