Sean Manaea Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod League Indiana State University Junior Pitcher Profile 6-5/235 pounds Bats Right Throws Left From Wanatah, IN Attended Andrean High School Summer Stats Perhaps no other player this past summer improved their draft stock as much as Sean did this past summer. And I believe that no other pitcher put up numbers like Sean did this summer while playing in the Cape Cod League. If you know anything about summer baseball, you are already aware of just how great a pitcher Sean is. ^^^ While pitching for Hyannis, he went 5-1 and was second in the league with a 1.21 era while also leading the league in inp (51.2). He made 8 starts, walked just 7 batters and he led the league with a crazy 85 strikeouts.  His strikeout total was 29 more than the 2nd place pitcher. He also held the opposition to a .121 BAA and he put up an unheard of .55 WHIP. He was also selected to start the Cape Cod League All-Star Game. As you can imagine, he picked up numerous awards for his summer season. He was named the leagues Pitcher of the Year and it's Outstanding Pro-Prospect. Both Perfect Game and Baseball America ranked him as the #1 prospect in the league. PG also named him their Summer National Player of the Year. My Favorite Stat .55 WHIP Misc. Info Was a high school football star. Scouting report Makes pitching look easy..... excellent late-cutting action on slider... devastating to left-handed batters....fastball sits at 94-96 mph with action...doesn't allow batters to square up.
