Although the White Sox seem to have fallen somewhat off the Roy Halladay trade rumor radar screen, Rick Morrisey writes in the Tribune that the White Sox should do whatever it takes, including trading John Danks and Alexei Ramirez, to bring Halladay to the South Side. Should they?

Things continue to develop with the Roy Halladay situation. A couple of weeks ago Joel Sherman had Halladay 75% staying in Toronto, NYBD’s Frank Russo believed it was closer to 90%. Things seem to be changing for J.P Ricciardi as SI’s Jon Heyman reports that it’s a 50/50 shot Halladay goes.

For a second year in a row, the Yankees payroll has topped $200 million. Right now, the Yankees have about 59 percent chance of making the playoffs according to Baseball Prospectus' Postseason Odds. That means there is a greater than 40 percent chance that the Yankees will become a $200 million failure two years in a row.
