The Mets have a opportunity to make some personnel moves (trade) while they are in striking distance and only 1 game out..... But, the Mets seem to think that they will have a healthy Beltran , Delgado, Reyes, and maybe Putz after the All-Star break...They also have a chance to get Billy Wagner back, who seems to be making head way. This maybe the reason we have not seen any moves...

I was supposed to be home in time for the game.
Instead, the flight back from Boston was delayed by the Northeast's daily apparently rain showers. The plane didn't take off until 6:30 or so, and it was after 7:30 when I was able to get MLB At Bat up and running. I navigated my way to the audio with my fingers over the screen, not wanting to see the score. Heard unfamiliar...

Jonathon Niese made another strong start, pitching eight innings, allowing three runs (two earned), five hits, 4 K, 1 BB. In his last four starts, Niese is 3-0 with an ERA of 0.95. He’s allowed three earned runs in 28 1/3 innings pitched. His season ERA is now 4.85, dropping a full three runs per game in June.
