Together on the court; together off the court. That's the recipe for success for the 2008-09 Boston Celtics. While it's clear that these players are clicking with each other on the court, it's how they treat each other off the court that makes them more than just teammates, but brothers.
Brought in by Doc Rivers during the 2007-08 banner season, the philosophy known as Ubuntu has played a major role in the recent success of the Boston Celtics. Whether it's the extra pass for the easy basket, or the help defense that Boston is known for, Ubuntu is everywhere. Fans and returning players of the Boston Celtics are very f...

Comments from the Other Side - Suns 11/6
These comments are definitely more fun to gather when the Celtics are playing well and especially when they win. Notice in the middle that one poster says that the Suns would win by 7 and that he has a source. There were a lot of questionable calls in this game. Makes you wonder. Also wondering where the Celtics' defense went to.
This will be a great test for the Suns...

Comments from the Other Side - Sixers 11/3
For the most part, Philly fans weren't expecting a win in this game but they were hoping for a competitive game. Unfortunately, their team didn't comply and it ended up another Celtic blowout. It amazes me when fans bash their own team instead of realizing that the Celtics are just playing that well.
Did any of you watch Boston dismantle the Bulls? Offensively they...
Your Morning Dump... where the second unit is just too much
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them

Celtics shooting too much for Sixers, 105-74
The Boston Celtics used the pick-in-roll game to perfection. Philly native Rasheed Wallace did the most damage for the Celtics, gunning the Sixers down and helping the Celtics stay undefeated winning easily 105-74. Wallace finished with 20 points off the bench, hitting 6-8 from the three point line. The Sixers seemed lost as to how to defend the perimeter. Boston also got 21 points...
Preview: Orlando Magic @ Detroit Pistons
Tonight, the Magic will face off with their arch-nemesis, the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons have given the Magic fits over the years, eliminating them from the playoffs in 2003, 2007 and 2008 and sweeping the Magic last season.
But this is not the Same Pistons team. Gone are Chauncey Billups, Antonio McDyess and Rasheed Wallace. In [...]
