According to Marc Spears on Yahoo, Rajon Rondo has signed a 5 year $55 million contract extension. It seems that Rondo was ready to play out his contract and test the free agency waters, where he would likely have become a prime target for teams next off season. But Danny Ainge came through and upped his offer to meet Rajon's original demands.

For the most part, Philly fans weren't expecting a win in this game but they were hoping for a competitive game. Unfortunately, their team didn't comply and it ended up another Celtic blowout. It amazes me when fans bash their own team instead of realizing that the Celtics are just playing that well.
