Harry Doyle: That's all we got, one goddamn hit?Nothing I said yesterday changes after today, but this was one of the worst games i've seen the Dodgers have in a long time.
Assistant: You can't say goddamn on the air.
Harry Doyle: Don't worry, nobody is listening anyway.
It's not the fact that the lineup can't hit that bothers me, i'm used to that, but the constant errors in the field is getting on my nerves.
On that note, why is Mark Loretta playing on this team? What does he do that Blake DeWitt doesn't do? Can somebody answer that for me? Thanks.
As far as Jon Garland goes, I think he just lost his playoff roster spot. There's no use for him if he isn't starting, because I think Vicente Padilla is better in short spurts as a two or three inning guy out of the pen.
Either way, don't feel so bad, things could always be worse. For example, you could be the kid at the 90 second mark in the following video.

Love Connection(s)
Looking at this picture of Matt Kemp signing autographs before yesterday's game at PETCO Park, I can practically hear Barry White crooning in the background. Look carefully and you can see three women devouring Kemp with their eyes — not that Matty is exactly discouraging the attention. Apparently a smile and eye contact can work wonders. Is that the sound of ovaries...
Free Agent at the End of the Season: Randy Wolf
As the Dodgers look forward towards the NLDS in a few weeks, there's little doubt about which pitcher will start Game 1: Randy Wolf. When the Dodgers signed Wolf last offseason, they envisioned Wolf becoming a solid backend of the rotation starting pitcher, who could throw some quality innings and take some of the pressure of the Dodgers' young pitchers. But as we've...

Free Agent Adjustments: Doug Davis
(For the last few weeks, I've been profiling some of the best free agents on the market this winter. At the end of each piece, I made a prediction regarding the type of contract the player could be in line to see. Obviously, these predictions have to be fluid because the season is still in progress. So which players have seen thier value change over the past few weeks? Let'...
