I’m not exactly sure when it happened, but I do remember Johnson fouling a ball off his foot in today’s game. He came out early and was replaced by Fukudome. The Cubs hoped it was just a bruise, but with the 2009 Cubs luck that wasn’t likely. It’s a broken foot and Reed will miss at least one month. Sam Fuld probably gets the call-up tomorrow.

It's all good for Cubs fans, at least for now. The Cubs beat the Astros 12-3 on Thursday to close up a big four-game series, where the Cubs won three of the games.
