Can anyone see the Phillies winning this series? Even as Joe Girardi whips his three-man rotation like a nag on the backstretch, it’s hard to envision the Yankees breaking down and losing three straight. Sure, maybe Cliff Lee has another dominating game in him. That would only send the series back to New York, where a hostile crowd, the designated hitter and Andy Pettitte await.
There he goes.
I don’t think too many people would argue the real turning point in this series. Sure, Alex Rodriguez’s weird homer off the camera lens on Halloween found its way into Phillies fans’ heads. But really, the Game-Set-Match moment of the 2009 Fall...
