Rasheed
If you didn't realize it during the offseason, preseason or during the first four games of the regular season, I hope you realize it know - Rasheed Wallace is a perfect fit for this Celtics team. Here's his line in tonight's 105 - 74 blowout win over Philly:24 minutes, 20 points, 7-10 FG, 6-8 3 FG, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block and 1 technical foulFor the first 8 minutes, this game was ugly. Despite getting good looks, the Celtics opened 3-14 from the field and the 76ers led this game 12-4. But the Cs ripped off a 15-5 run to close the quarter which included a Sheed three and Rondo behind-the-backboard jumper to beat the buzzer. The Celtics stretched the lead to 8 at the half and 15 after three quarters. Despite playing poorly in stretches (Ray Allen and KG scored a combined 8 points on 3-15 FG.), they were always in command. Believe me, if Boston played their best, this could have been a 50 point win. How'd the bench do tonight? They outscored Philly's bench 62-25....

Comments from the Other Side - Sixers 11/3

For the most part, Philly fans weren't expecting a win in this game but they were hoping for a competitive game. Unfortunately, their team didn't comply and it ended up another Celtic blowout. It amazes me when fans bash their own team instead of realizing that the Celtics are just playing that well. Did any of you watch Boston dismantle the Bulls? Offensively they...

Celtics shooting too much for Sixers, 105-74

The Boston Celtics used the pick-in-roll game to perfection. Philly native Rasheed Wallace did the most damage for the Celtics, gunning the Sixers down and helping the Celtics stay undefeated winning easily 105-74. Wallace finished with 20 points off the bench, hitting 6-8 from the three point line. The Sixers seemed lost as to how to defend the perimeter. Boston also got 21 points...

Comments from the Other Side - Hornets 11/1

Can't say that I'm looking forward to this game. Celts are 3-0, Hornets at 1-1. Hornets still trying to jell as a team with 2 new starters in the lineup and six new players overall. Rondo vs CP3 should be a very good matchup. Somebody should show cp3 those comments by rondo that he is only good cause he always has the ball. CP's gonna walk all over him. ...

Boston Celtics 92, Minnesota Timberwolves 90

The Celtics had to fight hard against the T-Wolves last night to win. The T-Wolves shot 52% from the floor last night but it wasn’t enough to down the Celtics. Rajon Rondo led the way for the Celtics last night with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Ray Allen [...]

Sixers No Contest for Celtics

Cue the Sergio Leone score for this one. The good: the Celtics move to 5-0 on the season, breezing to a 105-74 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night at the Wachovia Center. The bad: two of the Big Three looked lost. Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen shot a combined 3-15, missed three of five free [...]
