As a Magic fan, I have decided to finally get into this extremely opinionated debate. Ever since the trade went down this offseason, all I have heard from "other NBA Fans" has been, "Oh, Vince Carter is past his prime, he is a downgrade from Hedo Turkoglu." In addition others have made statements such as, "Hedo made that offense go and got everybody their touches, Carter is not the type of player to create for others like Hedo did."     It's actually Jameer Nelson's job to facilitate the offense and after the Lakers shut all that point forward nonsense down, they are doing the smart thing and assembling a traditional NBA squad around the Dwight. I don't blame them.. big men who play as such are nearly extinct and you should try and preserve the habitat if you spot one. Turkoglu is nice, but he's overrated. Vince can be old. Just move around, finish when you can and get 17 and 5 and they will be happy.
