The Sports Bank:
This is one of the worst lies I’ve seen in a press release in quite some time.
And believe me, that’s really saying something because I receive like two or three dozen press releases every single weekday. And a few more on the weekends. The Crimson Tide sent this release out to their media, and posted the same offering on the Alabama Crimson Tide official website, in their game recap story:
” The Alabama defense overcame a shaky start to contain A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel for much of the game”
He had 464 yards passing, 5 TDs, his team scored 42 points and the Aggies had 628 yards of total offense. That total is the most EVER versus Crimson Tide football. EVER.
They’ve been playing football at Alabama since 1892. The Crimson Tide have taken the field almost 1,200 times. And Manziel led an offense that more yardage on them than anyone ever. (Previous record was LSU 2011)
Wow, this statement is pretty much insulting to our intelligence.

Harvey Updyke is back, and he's more or less the same Harvey Updyke we all know and ... well, that we all know.
Updyke, an Alabama fan who is notorious for an incident in which he poisoned some important trees in Auburn, Ala., then went on the radio to brag about it, bore witness to his beloved Crimson Tide's 49-42 victory over Texas A&M.

Johnny Manziel ended the media lockout following the loss to Alabama Saturday and spent a few minutes taking questions from reporters. To make sure the Q and A session stayed on focus he requested that reporters not ask any questions related to the autograph mess.
If his polite request wasn't enough an A&M spokesperson made sure they understood by letting them know how...
It seems that Johnny Football is picking up right where he left off the last time he played against Alabama. Manziel has driven the Aggies down the field for touchdowns on both of the team’s first two possessions, giving Texas A&M a 14-0 lead early on in College Station. He’s been a terror for the Tide to contain on defense.
Here’s the first touchdown – a 1-yard toss...
No. 6 Texas A&M was tied with top-ranked Alabama in the second quarter when Johnny Manziel scrambled and scrambled some more, then wriggled away from an Alabama defender who had him caught by the jersey.
Then just as another white jersey was barreling toward him - and 26 yards behind the line of scrimmage - he launched a pass that Edward Pope grabbed for a 12-yard gain on third...
After about a year of waiting, the college football world got what they wanted. It was the most anticipated rematch in recent memory. Johnny Manziel vs. Alabama gave us everything a fan could want, and more. The game began almost as an exact replica of last season’s battle in Tuscaloosa. Johnny Manziel made some serious moves to give his Aggies the early 14-0 advantage. I wondered...
Texas A&M got off to a fast start against Alabama with 14 quick points, but than Alabama fired back with 28 unanswered points to take a 28-14 lead. The fourth touchdown came off a 4-yard run by T.J. Yeldon on a drive that started after a Johnny Manziel interception.
Following the touchdown Yeldon gave A&M a reason to get fired up by mocking their quarterback.

San Antonio has always been seen as a UT (University of Texas) town. Austin is down the road 45 minutes and Texas has traditionally had a stronger football program than Texas A&M. But, it looks like that is changing.
A&M is being proactive in getting its message out there. The Aggies have paid for at least two outdoor billboards along major highways around town with head...
