After playing the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers in back to back weeks, the New England Patriots needed a maintenance game. The Jacksonville Jaguars didn’t get the memo as they played like it was their own super bowl. What was supposed to be an easy game became a fight to the finish. The Patriots defense missing some key personnel on defense in Brandon Spikes and rookie Alfonzo Dennard and struggled early but adjusted and played solid from the mid second quarter mark. Trailing 13-6, Tom Brady (267 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT) with 349 left in the second quarter, led the offense on a 66 yard, 10 play drive ending with a touchdown pass to Danny Woodhead, tying the game 13-13. The New England offense then put up 10 unanswered including a touchdown to Wes Welker and the running game was solid with Stevan Ridley gaining 86 yards and no fumbles. The Patriots pass rush came on late with rookie Chandler Jones making several plays on Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne. However,
