In what seems to be an annual event, the Crimson Tide were presented their “bling” in the form of yet another BCS National Championship ring. The version this year? Well, flashy is a bit of an understatement.
Cornerback Daniel Geddes posted a few pictures of his ring on Facebook.
Clearly, the 15th National Championship ring is as beautiful as it gets. @UofAEquipment tweeted this picture last year comparing the 2009 and the 2011 National Championship rings to this year’s model.
As the number of National Championships grows, so do the rings. This year’s seems to mirror the immense amount of Crystal hardware displayed on campus. Also, there are so many diamonds on this ring (or cubic zirconia due to NCAA restrictions) that it is borderline blinding, but classic just like the program’s uniforms.

The Alabama Crimson Tide football team received their 2012-13 BCS national championship rings recently from their 42-14 beat down of Notre Dame.
Alabama’s bullpen faltered on Friday, but had enough cusion to survive. The bullpen collapsed on Saturday and Missouri took victory. It looked like more of the same Sunday, but the Crimson Tide offense came alive in the ninth inning.
