By “Jet” there are two meanings which consist of Jason Terry but also the Boston Celtics can start to gain momentum into takeoff before a huge three-game road trip against the Houston Rockets (9-11), San Antonio Spurs (18-4), and Chicago Bulls (11-9).
First, it’s the Dallas Mavericks. Subsequently, this Wednesday ESPN clash will feature Jason Terry and his former team. While it was extremely peculiar seeing Ray Allen play for the Miami Heat on opening night, the Jet will face the same type of essence in the TD Bank Garden.
Coming off a commanding victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, all eyes will be locked in to see if Doc Rivers’ team can build a consistency or if it is one of those horrific performances.
“Right now, we’re just concerned about us and stringing together some games,” Terry said. “We’ve won one, lost one, won one. We’ve got to put together three, four, five games in a row. So that’s where our focus is right now. Dallas just happens to be the next opponent, and hopefully we can put together a string. That’ll be two in a row for us.” (via ESPN Boston)
Terry’s mindset going into tonight’s game is prime. He wants the team to think like a team, not the fact he is going toe-to-toe with his former players, coaches, and Mark Cuban.
With a lot of unknown through both of these teams, this game is a big one. Dallas, who is without with their star player Dirk Nowitzki, is fighting to gain some kind of stature in the early stage of the 2012-13 season. The home team, Boston Celtics, is trying to circulate the three c’s on the floor: confidence, consistency, and chemistry.
The Boston Celtics are a tough opponent when Rondo gives the ball to Kevin Garnett in the post. The “Big Ticket” is posting 16.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game thus far.
The prominent factor in this game is if Jeff Green and company can outplay the struggling bench presence of the Dallas Mavericks. In this season, Celtics’ bench is recording 30.8 points per game.
With all of that being said, tonight’s battle will be one to watch. Check it out on ESPN at 8 p.m.
Prediction: Boston Celtics 108- Dallas Mavericks 99

Another look behind the scenes of the NOC's Jason Terry videos. Here we see what went into the making of The Shootout, the Jason Terry is a Shooter, and the Pranked videos. These are such fun videos. Jason Terry will be front and center on Wednesday as his current team takes on his former team at the Garden.

Might be an emotional night tomorrow as Jason Terry faces his former long time teammates for the first time. For his part he's downplaying the game based on the fact that a lot of the guys he went to war with over there will not be playing tomorrow. Most likely the Celtics lone visit to Dallas will be the tougher night.
Below is the video to compliment Mike Dyer's recent...
Jason Terry Struggles In Crunch Time Well that was pretty ugly. There’s no exaggeration here, it really wasn’t pretty. If you’ve got it on TEVO erase it. If you’ve taped it, burn the tape. Despite having the momentum towards the end of the third quarter, the Boston Celtics let a big lead slip away, [...]
Jason Terry hugs his former coach, Rick Carlisle
The storyline in this one was Jason Terry playing his first game against his former team. Terry didn't play great with just 10 points but far more importantly, the C's were able to beat his former club, although it took a long time.
The first half was the story of Paul Pierce absolutely finding his scoring touch. Over his...
BOSTON — Jason Terry was incapable of recalling even the most crucial late-game possessions. His mind was so fogged over with 58 minutes of basketball, he could only try — but fail — to recall specific plays from the Celtics’ double-overtime slog against the Mavericks.
“I don’t know,” Terry said. “I don’t even remember. It all happened so fast.”
Actually, it happened...
My eyes are bleeding. In a primetime matchup with Jason Terry’s old team the Celtics treated us to a delightful double-overtime period where both teams forgot how to play basketball, but the Celtics eventually remembered enough to get by. The Celtics had a five point lead at the half after giving up an 11-6 Mavericks run to end the second quarter. Then the Celtics did exactly what...
On Wednesday night the Celtics hosted the Dallas Mavericks. Coming into the game the big storyline featured Jason Terry as he matched up against his former team for the first time since joining the Celtics this off season. Although Terry said it was just another game it's been well documented he wasn't pleased when the call never came for him to resign with the Mavs. In...
Jason Terry had a rough first year in Dallas. The then-27-year-old point guard, who was still being midlabeled as a “point guard,” was destined to average a career-low 12.4 points per game while starting just 57 games. At the time, that was also a career-low for the future NBA Sixth Man of the Year.
Mavericks coach Don Nelson was unwilling to wait for his new guard to blossom...
Maybe Jason Terry's play last season for the Dallas Mavericks against the Boston Celtics is a big reason why he's wearing green and white now.
Terry will face the Mavericks for the first time since joining the Celtics in Wednesday night's matchup in Boston.
Dallas (11-10) has won four straight over Boston (11-9), with Dirk Nowitzki leading the way with 24.0 points per...
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
“I don’t have a timetable on (when it’s all going to come together) because I don’t know what the time is going to be,” Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. “Some teams I’ve had get it like that, some take...
Last season a trade that would have brought O.J. Mayo to Boston for Judas Shuttlesworth was basically squashed because Mayo claimed that he “doesn’t care about Boston’s banners.” After last night’s double overtime loss Mayo backpedaled faster than Rondo getting back on D, claiming that the accusation wasn’t true and he had no say in the matter due to lack of veto power...
The Celtics captain sent out this tweet yesterday evening:

Clearly Jason Terry's presence is having an effect on Pierce. Terry had this done shortly after signing with Boston:

The Boston Celtics are 12-9. They have been unable to reel off a long winning streak despite their improved play over the past couple of weeks. The team has won two straight games at home over the Philadelphia 76ers and the Dallas Mavericks in double overtime.
During the team’s off day on Monday, head coach Doc Rivers was able to sit in on the New England Patriots offensive meeting...
