We make invisible rape drugs visible. How? DrinkSavvy is currently developing technology to create products that people already use, such as party cups, glasses, straws, stirrers, and swizzle sticks. The difference is that if a rape drug is slipped into your drink, the cup, glass, straw, stirrer, or swizzle stick being used will immediately change color to warn you before you consume the rape drug.
A.B. I’m honestly shocked that someone hasn’t come up with this idea sooner. So genius yet so simple (if you are a chemist or can hire someone who is).
Think about it. For years now we’ve seen fictional shows like CSI and real-life shows like COPS where they test for drugs by adding droplets to the assumed narcotic. It changes blue. The bad guy is arrested.
I’m willing to bet that the ability to test a drug by the add-a-substance-and-see-if-it-turns-a-color method has been around longer than something like DNA testing. For someone who understands chemistry, it’s probably child...
