Former Oakland receiver Tim Brown suggested a few days ago that then-Raiders coach Bill Callahan sabotaged Super Bowl XXXVII with a late change of the offensive game plan. On Wednesday, Brown said that's not what he meant. "I have never said that he sabotaged the game," Brown said on the Dan Patrick radio show. "All I'm saying is, all I was saying after the game was, you know, the question was asked about this situation, but no one ever said -- and I said on the radio show last Saturday night -- that's something that could never be proven. We can’t go inside the mind of Bill Callahan and say, 'Oh, yeah, we knew exactly what he was thinking, what he was trying to do.' "All I'm saying is, the question was asked. But, of course, the media hears 'sabotage' and 'Bill Callahan' and 'throwing the football game;' now they're saying 'Throwing the football game' and that terminology was never used. But that wa...

Tim Brown Has Amnesia, Says He Never Said Bill Callahan Sabotaged Super Bowl

Tim Brown is getting up there in age so I’m going to try to give him a pass on this one.  Yesterday we reported that Brown accused his former Raiders coach Bill Callahan of sabotaging Super Bowl 37.   Today on the The Dan Patrick Show, Brown sort of got amnesia, because via Pro Football Talk, Brown says he never stated that Callahan sabotaged the Super Bowl. “I have never said...

Manti Te’o Said He “Stuck to the Script” After Finding Out Fake Dead GF Was Alive

Dan Patrick says that Te’o and Katie Couric have the same agent, which in my mind makes this a bit of a sham interview as well, but with that being said Te’o didn’t lie about the one thing he didn’t have a convenient excuse for. He was asked why he keep acting like his fake Dead Cancer Girlfriend was still dead when he knew she was alive. Here is what he had to say.  ...

Former Raiders WR Tim Brown changes his story regarding Bill Callahan

A curious story emerged this week from former Oakland Raiders WR Tim Brown regarding the Oakland Raiders appearance in Super Bowl XXXVII. Brown alleged, in a radio interview over the weekend that Raiders head coach sabotaged the Raiders appearance in the Super Bowl a decade ago against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jerry Rice supported the initial claims but several members of that team...

Tim Brown: ‘I’ve Never Said Sabotaged the Game’

The Tim Brown-Bill Callahan saga continues. Brown, who made headlines Monday when he accused the former Raiders coach of sabotaging his team’s chances in Super Bowl XXXVII, is now insisting that his comments were taken the wrong way. “I’ve never said [Callahan] sabotaged the game,” Brown told the Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday. “That’s something that can never be proven...
