The Chicago Bulls haven’t provided a definitive answer when asked if point guard Derrick Rose is done playing for the remainder of the season. Rose continued the vague discussion and continued to give Bulls fans hope of his return, as he told reporters -- including Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago -- that his status for the team’s second-round series against the Miami Heat is “still up in the air.”Rose said Monday that his status is "still up in the air. I might have a chance," although coach Tom Thibodeau ruled him out for Game 1.Thibodeau echoed this uncertain sentiment, replying with “we’ll see” when asked about Rose’s availability for the second-round series.Rose missed game one as he continues to recover from knee surgery. While he’s been cleared medically, Rose continues to have difficulties with what appear to be mental issues. It was recently reported that he’s struggling with muscle memory, as he doesn’t feel he has complete control over what his body does."It's definitely hard but I know that this will be over with pretty soon. Who knows when it's going to stop, but I can't just get down on myself," Rose said Monday. The Heat and coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters that they entered the series with Rose in the back of their minds. Most don’t believe they need to, but Rose and the Bulls won’t shut the door on a potential return.Follow @hoopsinjurynews
