The Celtics have reportedly signed 7-foot Center, Semih Erden, whom they drafted 60th overall in 2008. The terms of the deal were not disclosed but it's likely just for summer league play.
Erden has had some success outside of the NBA playing for the Turkish league. Last season, as a starter for Fenerbahce Ulker, he shot an impressive 62.4% from the field on rout to a championship. In late August, he will be representing his country in the FIBA World Championship alongside Hedo Turkoglu.
You can watch Erden and the Celtics take on the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at 5pm.
