Thoughts on Both Teams

The Chicago Blackhawks enter this game off a 4-3 shootout victory over the St. Louis Blues. The Blackhawks record in their last ten games is 7-1-2, so they are hot right now. Chicago is looking to change the odds tonight, as the Predators have dominated this series so far. Corey Crawford is most likely to get the start for the Blackhawks, but because of his bad record this season against them, Ray Emery could be the starter. Chicago has a few key injuries to their line-up. Jonathan Toews could be cleared for contact soon with an upper body injury. Steve Montador is out indefinitely with an upper body injury, as well. Sami Lepisto is out indefinitely with a lower body injury.

The Nashville Predators enter this game off a 4-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings at the Joe Louis Arena, last night. Tonight will be the second of their back-to-back. The Predators record in the last ten games is 5-4-1, which is average. Nashville needs to carry over the play that was performed last night, if they want to continue the dominance over the Chicago Blackhawks. Just about everyone is healthy, except Brian McGrattan, whom is out indefinitely with an upper body injury. Pekka Rinne should be getting the start, as that means he will be playing back-to-back nights.
