The 20-year-old driver has competed in four races this season for Roush Fenway Racing, running a partial schedule in the No. 16. In four starts this season Buescher has one top-10 and three top-20 finishes. The Car: The No. 16 team brings chassis RK-730 to the track this weekend for its debut at MIS. Up to Speed: In 2011, Buescher made NNS starts at Richmond and Darlington, finishing 17th in both events. In 2012 he participated in the full ARCA schedule, earning the ARCA Championship with four wins, 12 top-fives and 16 top-10s in the 19 race season. Overall, in five seasons of ARCA Racing, Buescher has made 54 starts, with one Championship, nine wins, 32 top-fives and 42 top-10s. The driver of the No. 16 Ford Mustang teams up with Seth Barbour, who will serve as Crew Chief. Barbour most recently worked as an Engineer on the RFR No. 6 team. Buescher on racing at Michigan International Speedway: “I’m really excited to be going to Michigan this weekend. I got my first speedway win there last year in the ARCA Series and the Roush Fenway cars always run really well there. The 16 team had an off weekend, so we had a little extra time to fine tune our Ford Mustang. I know Jack [Roush] always puts a little extra pressure on everyone going up to that track and we are expecting to have a good weekend.” -Roush Fenway Racing PR
