Found December 01, 2012 on Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
I always feel bad for fans who start talking lottery in the first month of the season.  Even in the Celtics worst years I had hope for the team turning it around.  The hate for Tommy is way over the top.  It amazes me when they talk about him like he doesn't know basketball.  A 10 time champion as both player and coach, Tommy knows more than their whole fan base. I've highlighted my favorites.  What are yours?  Chalk up another L. And that's my optimistic outlook. No Rondo might mean we have a chance, but that could be overly optimistic. Let's get this L Boston plays defense...the Blazers don't....bad equation for a road win Lillard needs to learn this isn't Weber St. And he doesn't have to shoot it every time. It's starting to get frustrating. Blazers snap their losing streak if they stand up to their bullies. I hope the Blazers play well, but I also hope they don't win. This year's all about the lottery, don't you know... I think the perfect way to tank Is to try and beat the good teams and lose to the bad ones. We’ve already lost to the bad ones, so it’s time to beat the Celtics. Plus I hate Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. Playing the only team that averages less rebounds than us. LP has the Boston feed. Here comes the mute button. Good call. Tommy Heinsohn makes the Mikes look fair and balanced. After his hearing his voice, I feel like stabbing myself. I'm in commentator Hell. I feel you there. That Boston Accent is horrid You don't want to hear about Peeuhs and Gahnett playing in DA Gahden? Everyone is happy about rondo not playing But Avery Bradley is one of the best defenders in the league There are certain stadiums that should never change their name The Boston Garden was one of them. FREE THROWS We don't make them anymore Boston playing dirty mean and aggressive as usual Wish wed get that repuation Two constants remain: The Blazers can’t play D The Cs have never committed a foul Atleast the ref are callin fouls on Boston If we keep this up they are gonna have some possible foul trouble It's official, we're tanking this game. Good thing Rondo is not playing tonight.... Wait... Err... Nevermind Boston complains every call I do hate that... One of the biggest whinning team teams in the league First Tommy point of the night on that strip Former blazer great Jason Collins checks in for the c’s Getting out-rebounded by the "worst" rebounding team...smh. Blazers suck. There you go. All you need to write for the 1st quarter: We put Nolan Smith in... Yeah it was that bad So which one of the Collins twins are horrible? I can never tell them apart because they both are not that good They're both awful. Is that peter griffin announcing for the C's? Lee offense reb tip in over LMA and Batum How is that even possible? I knew the Blazers should've signed Lee, but they didn't. If he had a choice, he'd go to a contender anyway. Even as loose a term as that is with the Celts. Well after KG and Pierce are gone, the Celtics will be ok, but to be considered a contender, not sure about that one. For some reason, I feel like punching the Celtics in the face. One by one. That was definitely a reach in. It earned Lee another Tommy point and a Jordan comparison Meanwhile the Celtics are getting away with a lot of sh*t and if they're actually called for something, they f'ing complain about it. So is Garnett going to get a flopping violation? I seriously doubt it. Sometimes I wish that we could just skip the rest of the season and just go straight to the lottery. Best thing about Terry playing for Boston: Not having to see that stupid jet plane celebration four times a year. The "Big Ticket" playing like he's found the fountain of youth... Come on Blazers! I always hate the in-Boston games. In fact, my opinion of the entire city has been largely lowered by my exposure to how they behave Yeah Boston sports casts a poor reflection of Boston the city. I hate everything about the Celtics organization, but The city is cool. The Blazers, where players and teams go to get their confidence. Boston's D has been terrible this year, but they look like they're back to their old ways now Even Sully looks like he knows playing against bad defense Rondo isn’t even playing and he almost has more assists than the entire blazer team (1) PP drops shoulder, gets call Oh well, there are the Cavs upcoming. The Kyrie-less Cavs. We lost to the Wizards man I’m not expecting any game to be a sure win The Boston folk Are complaining about the free throw discreptancy. But you don’t call fouls during layup drills. I would hit them if I could. Really I mean it. Tommy has different whines This is the smug “We’re winning” whine I'm not meant to wish death upon people But c’mon… why do we need a Tommy Heinson. We’re really all set here, we don’t need him. You could wish throat cancer on him. It’s not always fatal. Can't risk him becoming a martyr. Gotta throw the body away at sea so there’s no grave for Boston rubbish to congregate at. It would shut him up though. Portland is making Green look like Durant. Crikey. I see this game getting real chippy b4 its over I hope so, I just want to see LA slap kg I want to see that so bad SOMETHING to show KG up for those years of being an idiot. Who needs Rondo when you're playing the Blazers Yes, Pierce is definitely the Celtic to leave alone behind the arc. Funny how Boston team is celebrating Like they are beating a good team or something They have had a rough stretch to start the season I can’t hold it against them, well except that I just dislike them in general. At least Pierce is doing good for my fantasy team Freelander? He's holding a grudge for the Boston Tea Party Nolan is the worst player in the whole league I think Freeland, Babbitt and Armon are up there Haha Garnett on suicide watch. Freeland just owned him in the post. Then just stole the ball from him. I'm rooting against the Celtics for the rest of the year just because of their announcers Portland: where basketball hopes go to die. I didn't realize Wilcox was still in the league. Barbossa is a PERFECT example of why trading Lamarcus for youthful “upside” is a stupid, stupid, stupid idea. Look at him. He’s a one-dimensional scrub. Trade Nolan to the Melbourne Tigers for Jonny Flynn Jonny Flynn was sooooooo much better than Nolan, and Flynn sucked… I can move on pretty easliy from this game. We suck, we know it. Boston won't be winning anything with this team. Boston are scum, And their fans are puke faces. Dog poop scrapes Boston off of its shoe. It could be worse... We could be living in Cleveland. It could be worse...We could be stuck paying Nic 11+ mil the next 4seasons...Errr wait a minute, maybe we have hit rock bottom. If we’re gonna be bad, I’d like to have a chance at the #1 pick. But if we’re, say, the 4th worst, it’s not like the Wiz have a HUGE advantage over getting the #1 pick. The Wizards are already looking over their shoulder nervously at us. We actually out-rebounded the worst rebounding team. Jeff Green and Leandro Barbossa are perfect examples of why trading Lamarcus for younger “upside” is a stupid, stupid, stupid idea. Flavor of the month players rarely become all stars, if even impact starters. Even besides the heart thingy Jeff Green is a super mediocre player Yeah Green is a reminder that OKC's drafting isn't bulletproof. The best part of this game was me not watching it. Paul Pierce's Terrible No Good Week

Paul Pierce hasn't had the best of weeks. It took overtime for the Celtics to beat the Magic and then they got embarrassed by the Nets. Pierce has looked his age in the past couple of games, especially on defense. First, there was Jameer Nelson And then there was Joe Johnson Here's hoping the Captain gets his mojo back. This is getting painful to watch. ...

Enemy Chatter: Marquis Daniels and Mbah a Moute played tough defense on Pierce

We often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics. Here’s a look at some enemy chatter from Milwaukee. Marquis Daniels Daniels played tough defense all night on Paul Pierce all game and gave the Bucks god versatility against the Pierce/Terry pick and roll late. He offers preciously little on the other end, but he knows his limitations...

Video: Three at the Buzzer: Rondo-less Celtics Blowout Blazers 96-78

The Celtics barely missed Rondo as they routed the Trailblazers 96-78. Green and Wilcox "chance" won't play vs. Portland

#Celtics coach Doc Rivers: There's a chance Chris Wilcox won't play, chance Jeff Green won't play tomorrow. — Scott Souza (@scott_souza) November 29, 2012 Potentially the Green could be down to 8 guys playing tomorrow night against the Trail Blazers, depending on what the league decides to do with Rondo. Boston Celtics creating adversity for themselves….again!

February 22nd, 2012 – The Boston Celtics lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-104 dropping their record to 15-17.  Even the most ardent members of Celtics Nation declare the “window” shut for the team.  The break-up of the Big Three seems inevitable as Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and maybe even Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett [...]

Taking Stock: Celtics – Trailblazers

After every game, we’ll take stock of how each individual performance affects the player’s overall value. Starters Offense:      Defense:      Overall:  I bet when you see 3 green arrows come up for Courtney Lee, you expect a siren to go off and coins to come pouring out of your monitor somehow.  I’m going to look past a few of the misses because as we’ve...

Taking Stock: Celtics – Nets

After every game, we’ll take stock of how each individual performance affects the player’s overall value. Starters Offense:      Defense:      Overall:  Rondo was having a so-so game until the “fight”.  But that has the potential to be a very damaging reaction from Rondo.  If the league drops the hammer because things spilled into the stands, then the...

The Celtics Recall Kris Joseph from Maine

With Rondo out for tonight's game and Chris Wilcox and Jeff Green questionable, the Celtics have recalled Kris Joseph from the Maine Red Claws. Joseph, a 6’7 forward, averaged...

Celts cruise despite Rondo's absence

Jeff Green scored 19 points, Jason Terry added 17 and the Boston Celtics cruised to a comfortable win without Rajon Rondo, topping the Portland Trail Blazers 96-78 on Friday night. The star point guard served the first game of his two-game suspension for his role in a scuffle Wednesday night against the Brooklyn Nets. Courtney Lee started in Rondo's place and finished with 10...

Bucks Gone Wild

Consistency is something the Celtics have finally found, that is if being consistently inconsistent counts.  Watching the Celtic's quarters are almost like following two different movies at the exact same time which can be extremely frustrating, especially when they start out playing so well. The defense was smothering the Bucks and it seemed like we had gained control of the...

No Rondo? No problem: Celtics cruise past Blazers 96-78

First game of a back-to-back without Rajon Rondo? No problem. The Trailer Blazers came into tonight without a victory in the Garden since 2004 and the Celtics made sure it stayed that way, crushing the Blazers 56-33 in the first half and holding on for the easy victory. There was a moment in the second half where it looked like the Blazers might put together a run, but consecutive...

Video: Tempers flare during Celtics, Nets game

With the Nets up 51-35 in the first half of their game against the Celtics last night, tempers flared when Nets' Kris Humphries fouled Celtics' Kevin Garnett sending him crashing to the floor. Rajon Rondo didn't take to kindly to Humphries' foul on his teammate and that's when a brawl broke out.  Boston head coach responded to the brawl saying the...

Celts Beat Blazers, 96-78

Boston and Portland are scenic ports of call, but their basketball arenas are no bed and breakfasts for the NBA's gentlemen callers. Courtney Lee replaced Rajon Rondo in the starting lineup and the Celtics got off to a quick start.  Jeff Green played well with 19 points and Jason Terry had 17. Dee Brown converted two free throws with 16.5 seconds remaining and the Celtics...
