Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
Have to feel for Bobcats fans and have to admire them a bit also. I have to hand it to them for sticking with their team as poorly managed as it's been over the years. But there's always hope that they'll turn it around and make the right draft pick one of these years. Some fun comments. Enjoy...
I like the stat saying we are only 3-14 on the second night of a back to back Meaning we are an impressive 11-37 when rested. Man this is depressing.
Some good news KG has the night off tonight.
It is an odd scheduling quirk Last week, Boston rested Pierce. Tonight they’re resting KG. Hopefully we make them pay again. PAIN!
I call this the valley of death Of what little of my dignity remains.
Think they will be angry much about the other night? This could get U-G-L-Y!!
Can we make it three in a row against Boston?
This game could really get ugly. Bradley vowed that they won't let Henderson drop 35 again on them.
No KG tonight. That works out better for us than Pierce being out.
Nobody worry about Bass Just another guy going to work on Biz. Sigh.
We need more veterans. 6+ years of NBA experience and actual NBA talent are the requirements.
That foul on MKG is ridiculous I swear the refs have something out for him.
How great would it be to beat Boston at home on St. Pattys day? Them and Minnesota don’t want to see us in a playoff. Lol.
Then the entire city of Boston would drown itself in beer. And be racist.
Mulley or McBob. You pick. Who do you re-sign?
Mully can take his 3pt jacking ass out of the QC and carry Tyrus with him ! And Diop, and probably a few others.
Mully said how can you call a foul on me. I ran away from Dj white.
Still waiting for Ben Gordon to shoot a quality shot.
Lol. Randolph is horrible.
Don't disrespect Shavlik.
And now he tears it up 3 straight posessions..
Randolph is making Mullens look worse than his beard
This lineup sucks...pargo sucks. Mullins sucks and Gordon is a chucker
This little sequence of not playing defense between Mullens and White is cute. Watching the OKC turnstiles trying to guard each other on rotations is hilarious.
Shavlik Randolph bodying Mullens. Shameful.
The Celtics are out there playing dirty. Especially those last three possessions.
I swear McBob should be able to wear Ferrari shades and fingerless leather gloves when he plays. At least a gold chain.
That foul should be on the floor. Damn Pierce and star calls.
Dunlap doesn't like players from Kentucky.
Behind Kemba and Hendo McBobcat is the third best player on this entire roster. That's pretty sad.
We overrate McBob. He's average at best, just the rest of our bigs are bad enough to make him look good.
Man, they are calling some hot ******* fouls on us. #BOSTONRULES
I like the play that Dunlap draws up where whatever PG is playing just dribbles around before calling for a screen with 5 seconds to go in the shot clock and jacks a three.
I really enjoy spending my Saturdays watching hot meltdowns.
T-WILL SIGHTING!!!! REMEMBER, WE WERE FORCED TO SETTLE FOR HENDERSON!!!
We continue to allow Jeff Green to look decent.
Hes a solid player
Only against us, and a select few other bottom dwellers. I've yet to see him produce against a quality team in his 3 years with the Celtics.
March: Where the Lolcats happen.
Could be worse, could have Shavlik Randolph on the roster.
Yeah, we're pretty shi... oh wait, was that sympathy? Oh, ok. Umm, thanks.

The gentleman in the photo that you see above is Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. He plays forward for the Charlotte Bobcats, and as many of you know he helped Kentucky win a national championship in 2012. He does not — nor did he ever — play for Middle Tennessee, Illinois or Ohio State. But that hasn’t stopped Nike from acting like he did.
As Nation of Blue pointed out, Nike posted...
TD Garden might as well have been renamed “The Last Arena on The Left” last night, as the Bobcats were sadistically snuffed out in a blowout that bordered on exploitative, 105-88. The victory enabled the Celtics to avenge their unsettling defeat at the hands of those same marauding Bobcats earlier in the week. The final [...]
Shavlik Randolph has seen a lot in his basketball career. Before he came to Boston, he saw action in Philadelphia, Miami, and Portland. He is currently on his second 10-day contract, and is playing for the chance to stay on this roster for the rest of the season. He's seen limited time in 3 games now, with his last stint against the Charlotte Bobcats being his best effort...
Morris Peterson talked about what brought him back to Toronto, what it's like being back in the building, what former teammates he has kept in touch with, and Vince Carter's evolution late in his career.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Gerald Henderson had 27 points, Kemba Walker came up big late and the Charlotte Bobcats defeated Washington 119-114 Monday night to snap the Wizards' three-game win streak.
Walker scored nine of his 18 points in the final three minutes to spark a 12-0 run, lifting the Bobcats to only their second win in their last 14 games.
Walker shot 8 of 14 from the...
Although the Charlotte Bobcats have been eliminated from playoff contention, Kemba Walker believes the young team can still take something from the season's final 16 games.
Most notably learning how to win close games like Monday night.
Gerald Henderson had 27 points and Walker came up with a flurry of big plays in the closing minutes helping the Bobcats overcome a five-point...
Brittany McQuain scored 14 points to lead top-seeded Quinnipiac to a 72-33 rout of Saint Francis, Pa., in the NEC title game on Sunday, earning the Bobcats their first trip to the NCAA tournament.
Quinnipiac (30-2) has won 22 straight games with the last loss coming on Dec. 29 at Georgia Tech. With their 30th win the Bobcats joined a select group this season reaching that mark....
In the process of writing this post, I was disgusted with the confidence the fans of the Charlotte Bobkitties came into the game with. Sure, they won a couple games against the Celtics, but for a team that bad to assume they would win? Horrendous. Thankfully the Celtics shut them up by destroying their vastly inferior squad. And to think I came into today feeling sorry for Charlotte...

Much better.Let’s avoid hyperbole, if we can. Nobody should claim that that game meant more than it did.Sure, the Celtics got blown out by the Bobcats earlier this week. Yes, Jason Terry made it sound like the C’s cared more about beating Charlotte than they do about beating Miami on Monday. And of course, the win brought the Celtics back into a three-way tie for fifth in the...

With Kevin Garnett unable to play last night due to injury, the newest Celtics Shavlick Randolph and D.J. White got some run filling in. Here are their highlights from last night courtesy of OfficialCelticsHD. Let us know in the comments section what you think of Randolph and White so far.

No picture of the three together, so this horrifying creation was the best I could do
According to the Celtics official twitter, every C's player (besides Rondo and Sullinger of course) boarded the flight to N'awlins this afternoon.
Kevin Garnett is on today's team flight to New Orleans, as are D.J. White and Shavlik Randolph.
