Bulls fans have always hated Rondo.  Love how they were hoping to keep his assist streak from continuing and then said they cheated to keep it going.  The Rondo photo cracked me up.  Too funny.   Of course there are the  usual ref complaints and the "old Celtics" comments.   I hope you enjoy today's comments... I think the Bulls win. The Celtics aren't playing as well as most thought they would. They've been playing at the same level as their as their opponents. Celtics have looked like hot garbage this year. I think age is finally catching up to them I expect a Bulls win and a big game from Boozer as he should be able to dominate Bass, and Sullinger. We've got answers for everybody except Rondo.. Just a matter of who shoots better, IMO. They do have Terry, who can kill us... Looks like we dodged a bullet by not pursuing Lee... he's been terrible, as far as I can tell. Who keeps putting eastern time on these threads? I'm from NY, yo...

The Streak: Rondo Breaks Assist Record

Rajon Rondo's been given an assist they missed in Milwaukee. That makes 11 for the game and thus a new NBA record 28 straight games of 11+. — Sean Grande (@SeanGrandePBP) November 14, 2012 Sean Grande has tweeted that they found a previously unreported assist for Rondo in the game against the Bucks. He was previously recorded as having 10 assists in the game and that left...

Your Morning Dump…Where Rondo has taken his game to a whole new level

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. “He works hard at his craft,” Pierce said. “It’s developing nicely over the years. I feel that with me, Kevin (Garnett) being around here, I’ve been a part of that. It’s beautiful to watch him finally...

Rajon Rondo’s Ankle Injury Leaves Celtics to Briefly Ponder Life Without Him, Which Works Out for One Night

BOSTON — Let’s be honest. Sports crowds do not always have a complete understanding of what is going on. They will loudly cheer a basket by the home team even when the shot was taken several seconds after a whistle was blown, or they will have a conniption when a batter slugs a high fly ball, thinking home run, when the can o’ corn has no chance of leaving the infield. Put...

Rajon Rondo: Celtics in trouble when Kevin Garnett leaves floor

The Boston Celtics entered the season expected to contend with the Miami Heat (and possibly others) for the Eastern Conference title. They’re off to a 3-3 start, which isn’t bad, but certainly not impressive when you consider that two of the wins came against the Wizards. One of the main problems for the Celtics is their age. Kevin Garnett is 36 and Paul Pierce is 35, which...

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Only 5 games into the season it is way to early to panic about this team or jump off the bandwagon. I said this at the beginning of the season we need to wait about 20 games to really judge this team and make a judgement to weather this team is going to make a title run. The good with this Celtics team in the first 2 weeks has to start at the top with the play of PG Rajon Rondo....

Rajon Rondo had 20 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 101-95 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. Rondo took advantage of Bulls point guard Nate Robinson for three quarters, helping the Celtics build a 12-point lead on 56-percent shooting. He extended his streak of consecutive games with 10 or more assists to 31, the longest in the NBA since...

Celtics struggling to find chemistry on both ends of the court

Kevin Garnett is still the heart and soul of the Boston Celtics defense The Boston Celtics fell to 2-3 on the season after losing 106-100 to the Philadelphia 76ers in the Garden on Friday. The lost also dropped their home record to 1-2. The Celtics are struggling to find their chemistry on both sides of the ball, at an incredibly inconsistent rate. There are times when they are putting...

Jeff Green Comes Out Of A Coma, Dunks On Al Jefferson

Did you hear that collective sigh of relief?  That was Celtic nation.  Jeff Green has all the tools and capabilities to do good and even great things.  This dunk was just straight up dirty by Green.  I think Al Jefferson may have filed a restraining order after it.  It was nice to finally see a mean side of Jeff Green.  Earlier during the week we heard he was too soft and nice...

Taking Stock: Celtics – Bulls

After every game, we’ll take stock of how each individual performance affects the player’s overall value. Starters Offense:  20 points on a very efficient 10-16 shooting.  He hit 5 of 6 shots at the rim, and 5 of 8 from everywhere else inside the 3-point line.  A few of his turnovers were sloppy, but a few of his passes were spectacular. Defense:  He played the passing lanes...
