I don’t watch NASCAR. It’s not that I have anything against it – I just don’t understand why people love it so much.

I tried to watch the Daytona 500 and made it through the first 50 laps before I needed a break. Luckily, my friend swtiched back just in time to see Juan Montoya smash in to a jet dryer. Which is amazing in itself. How do you not have a better way of cleaning off the track? You have to use a jet engine powered by jet fuel? At a track filled with cars traveling upwards of 200 mph you’re going to have a truck driving around the edge filled to the brim with on of the most flammable substances on earth. That makes a lot of sense. And fans wonder why NASCAR gets a bad wrap.

But with the little knowledge I do have of the sport, there’s one story I was more than aware of – Dale Jr’s. winless streak. The most popular racer in the sport hadn’t won in 143 races. The 6th longest streak a driver had gone without a win. Now Junior is in the driver’s seat (terrible pun intended) for the Sprint Cup race and what that means I really don’t know. So, congratulations Junior. Now this guy has another t-shirt to cut the sleeves off of.

Hell, if you’re this guy why even wear a shirt? With a stomach like that – complete with possibly the trashiest tattoo I’ve ever seen and a stomach scar you only get from getting body snatched in Asia and having your organs sold on the black market – a shirt is just not a necessity.
