Davis, unlike Murphy however, showed some nice power in 2012.  The first baseman belted 32 homers and 26 doubles while batting a lowly .227 with a .308 on-base-percentage. After hitting just .201 in the first half of the season, Ike batted .255 with 20 home runs following the All-Star break, including a .287 average in the month of August with a season high .887 OPS.
