The story of porn star Bibi Jones & Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski in a pic took another strange twist overnight. It was just 24 hours ago that we traded emails with Business Insider reporter Tony Manfred over what agent was kinda pimping out Bibi Jones to recruit MLB clients. We threw out the name Terry Bross, who just happened to be Dan Uggla’s agent. Jones says she had sex with Uggla. Well, we now know Bross was the guy using porn arm candy.

Manfred was able to pinpoint Bross, via an unnamed source. “Bross declined to comment on the allegations through (Gaylord Sports Management’s) lawyer last night,” according to Manfred’s story out this morning that sheds light as to a strange timeline in 2010 when Dan Uggla switched agents.

Uggla switched agents and signed with Bross on July 28, 2010, three weeks after a road trip to Phoenix to play the Diamondbacks.

“He would kind of use me to get baseball players to sign with one of his agents,” she said about Bross on Monday.

So, Bross (ex-Met; 10 total MLB games played) is just a genius who found a porn star that (allegedly wasn’t paid) just liked to have sex with famous baseball players. She’s said that over 10 baseball players were on her sex list but only named Uggla in a radio interview because he was only one not married.

According to published reports, Bross’s client list includes Bill Hall, Bronson Arroyo, Dan Uggla and Brian Anderson.

Busted Coverage has worked its sources within the sports agent community and got its hands on the MLBPA Regulations book that outlines rules governing agents in baseball.

Now, we’re not sure if a porn star falls under inducements, but the way we read it “any other thing of value” sure is telling. Is sex with a teen porn star “of value” to a MLB player?

Was a law broken? Not unless we have a full-fledged hooker empire run by a rogue Arizona agent with a hooking empire. You can go look at Bross’s Facebook account where he lists Herman Cain as an inspirational figure and Modern Warfare 2 as one of his favorite video games. The guy seems harmless and will likely just fly under the radar on this one unless other agents and MLB start snooping around.

It’s our expert opinion that Bross had a genius plan and at least landed Uggla (and his 5-year, $62mm contract) out of all this.

Kudos to all involved. We’re all ears if you want to share even more secrets to how this game is played.
