Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Kenley Jansen was scheduled to see a doctor after telling the team he had some shortness of breath Thursday night.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Jansen could be dealing with a "fluttering heart" issue.
The 24-year-old Jansen was sidelined for a month last season due to an irregular heartbeat.
He wound up making 51 appearances on the season, logging a 2-1 record and 2.85 ERA. Jansen was spectacular during the last four months of the season, permitting only two earned runs in his last 31 appearances.
